The farm stays have been designed to a very high ecological standard. All consideration has been given to maintaining an Eco friendly living environment.
The Farmstays are located next door to our home, Oakley Farm House, which is a working alpaca farm. Ernesto and Amaru, two of our herd of huacaya alpacas, will often be your neighbours and visible from the downstairs window! (Sometimes they need fresh pasture). During your stay, you will be welcome to tour the farm and meet the rest of the herd, and learn more about how we care for these gentle, inquisitive creatures. We encourage an eco-friendly ethos; you will be provided with environmentally-friendly products and waste recycling facilities. The farm stay has been designed with a sustainable energy source, eco conscious building materials and is served with a bio-digester. Our own home uses ground source heating and a bio digester. Easy, private parking, close to the farm stay. We will be there to greet you and show you to your accommodation, we live in the Farm House and we will be available and happy to help should you need us.
